im currently at 4 pounds, I think its either my spring, rpms, or timing not sure I want to get it to 10-12 pounds before launching and that would be really cool

today was pretty scary heading up to a car meet and as I was driving car just goes rich and dies, I was like oh crap and this was on a major highway, the guy that was following me said I think your head might have popped off, or your intercooling piping, Im frantically looking and kinda skimmed it, after looking again I saw the intake hose popped off. It happened to me twice and so that means its time for some t-bolt clamps

I was having trouble with my tube popping off right where it connects to the J-pipe. I just put 2 clamps on it and has not popped off for months now.

i had a few problems with pipes blowing off, so i got some vibrant performance t bolt clamps as well (best in the buis i feel). they hold nice and stay tight. but if you're still having problems check this out:

nice find but id wonder how long those will last. that looks exactly like the pos ones they sell at oreilly for like $2 each. you tighen them once and they're shot, and hopefully they will hold. vibrant ones are stainless steel and the bolts hold longer since they arent made of poor quality metal

oil pans

I was sitting back and just thinking how come no one has thought about trying to swap oil pans on different blocks? I was very curious about it because what if I could swap a g63 oil pan on my g94 or is it like the same issue like the head not fitting as well? I would like to just swap my 3" downpipe anytime I want without issues from the pan.

Anyone have any objections to this or has this been talked about?

I have also decided that I will be getting an evo next year on march 6 for my 23rd bday so after my motor install this will be the last thing I do except getting a new turbo. I'm just going to save my money and I should have about 8k or more then I can own my dream car while also keep the lancer as my dd.

Hoping to get a
2003-2006 evo 8
Black, white, or silver preferably white
Under 80k

What are you opinions as well on this?
