i still beg the differ. and you wont break the trans if you dont drive like an idiot. it seems like more work to do a clutch on a lancer than the wrx and ive done both.

steven whens that engine going in?????????

wait..... WTF u just say JRRR..................................... clutch swap on a lancer is MAD easy... wrx... no so much.. wtf u talk about.. drop cradle.. 12+4 bolts.... Done....wrx.... same + 1 pressure bolt.. ummm.. not NEAR as easy... (i have literallly pulled 7 STI motors, and hate dealing with eh tranas on the, there terrible)

now if ur doing all the work at a shop, i could see a wrx being easierwith the right tools.. but for an average guy with basic tools.. Lancer(or evo) is much easier to work on.. Exspecially with clutch job, then a wrx(or any other car with a boxterstyle motor)

Any =yes.. i am drunk. :P

theres your problem you dropped the trans......so much easier with either moving the engine forward or pulling all together....

Dayum today is not a good day.... took off the forge wastegate and putting on the 19 pound spring so I can get everything prepped for my car and I saw a crack on my manifold with the first 2 runners near the weld to the flange.

I just emailed speedcorps to see if they have any extra manifolds and if not. My turbo journey might just come to an end. I cant find anyone that sells the manifolds, and no one hear well attempt to fix custom crap because they are held reliable. I will post up pics later today trading out this spring real quick

Did you ever brace your mani Steven? The one I got from Zulu is still holding strong no cracks anywhere that I can see.

thats not exactly a custom manifold.. thats a machine built piece outa poor material. big difference from a custom built turbo manifold outa higher quality stainless individually welded together.
u probably should look into having a custom piece built by a local fabricator, it wont be cheap. But if it ever cracks, they will repair it, and it will be out of better material and shouldnt have any issues.
i parked my car yesturday. got some fixxin and upgrading to do, so my car might be down for the next couple weeks. cracked intake manifold needs to be repaird, and also need to get my coilovers, but im just poor right now. lol
