I did not know you were in Texas....I thought for a second, "hey, we could meet up and help out with the builds and what not" but you're like 4 hours from austin, lol. I guess just the spots I've lived, Austin and Houston have they done serious inspection, like...once they didn't pass my buick because of a power steering leak, I mean a small one...and for the guy to prove it to me, he had to pick the car up on a lift and say "see right here?"

So...a friend who'll pass you is the best, I need one like that. You worried about our heat down here? Think about getting your stuff ceramic coated? I got quoted about 250 to have my header, o2 housing, turbo hotside, and downpipe all coated with the turbox stuff that is by the same company as cermakrome. Thoughts?

then maybe you should move in to the dallas area and then we can help each other out lol, Well im pretty much set on my kit and im ready to go I think I got enough money and I had to suspend my insurance for another 2 weeks but thats fine I just need to get this turbo and parts in before they start collecting dust, my turbo had a lot of dust on it when I installed the mani on it so I just blew that crap out. So dont worry when I out my pics up I will show everyone step by step on how I did it, My kit right now is pretty much just bolt ons from here and I should be done putting it on in exactly 1 day, minus the oil pan work and exhaust work to. I cannot wait, and speedcorps got me a sweet tune so OH YEAH!!!

I never liked houston...and Dallas is just as overgrown. I like my little stoner town of austin, everyone's so social and laid back.

So...you already did the oil pan? or are you going to install, but not have oil running through the turbo?

oh no... my fault im having someone do those for me, everything else should by myself should take me about a day I dont have cool buddies that are car smart to help me so I pretty much have to do my own labor, and inspection but im pretty sure I have someone start my car because thats a no brainer lol, that way I can watch for leaks

anyone know how to prevent a gasoline leak from the injectors once there installed? I was watching this video here and that kinda freaked me out.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! Shut it off! Shut it off! lol

But At first I was running a cell eliminator on my second cat but months ago I added a test pipe with just the O2 (probly around February) and nothing. What the second O2 sees and trips the code is an increased velocity of air. The turbo slows that air down a bit. when you FI you will notice your exhaust is A LOT quieter than your used to hearing being NA.

so when you put a turbo in your car and run it, its quieter than NA? well thats weird?

Does anyone know how can I set up my evo 8 intake tube with the bov connected, to make the air filter and maf turn at a 45 degree angle so I dont have to move the battery? Is there any connectors or does the tube bend so I can fit it there?

Yup the turbo fins will block alot of that engine noise as the exhaust pushes through them and so makes it quieter. My car would be Deafening if I had a 3" exhaust and still NA lol

Does anyone know how I can use the evo8 intake tube with bov without moving the battery? like bascailly push the filter towards the back of the engine? I have seen some pics of people doing it and I would prefer that any clue on how?

Its pretty simple but you have to get a tube thats bent so it will move your filter to where you want it.
