Pretty sure I bought this exact one, even seems the price has dropped a little. It cheap for sure but has been working just awesome for me. I imagine if you hit something installing it your chances of putting a hole in it is probably a little higher then higher end one but hell for 1/3 the price I took the gamble. Here is some pics of stock vs evo 5 one I have

It doesn't smoke after an oil change, just when warming up. Once I start driving its good. When the car gets to temp and just idling without driving it, it still smokes but little bit not alot. The car does have 166K on it.

About your tranny cooler how about just mounting it in the bay and attach a powered fan.

I'm gonna install it in front of the radiator. It's not a big one and it should be fine there. I texted Mitsukid and he said thats where he has his.

Ehh Better flow behind a bumper duct as air does not have to go threw anything else like intercooler , condenser and radiator .

got some stuff fixed today that I had been putting off but couldn't anymore. Last night on the highway I was that damn slow car in the slow lane going 40 MPH. My driver's side axle broke. It had started clicking when turning but not too serious, well last night on the way back the axle completely went. When I took it off today, I found the inner part of the axles is what had broken.

Good thing that came out of these but I know in another thread there had been discussion of if whether the axles were interchangeable between the autos and the manuals and well I used a manual axle that I bought off ebay awhile back so they are interchangeable.

Changed the brake pads while I was at it and fixed some of the plastic below.

Anyone know where I can pick up a whole set of the wheel well plastic and all the plastics pieces under the car??

Sorry but do you get it from the dealership or are different types of oils for the tranny? I have never changed mine because before I used to work on my car the guys at Midas told me I didn't have to do that until about the mileage I'm at which is 166K.

as long as the fluid meets/exceeds the diamond sp whatever they are on now you are fine for trans fluid. i usually change my fluid in the trans and rear diff bout every 20-25k depending on how hard im diving it. if you have never changed it that filter is junk and not filtering anything by this point.

You are lucky my friend. I recently had to go and tow 2 of my friends cars in the same night. Both broke there axles and both toasted their tranny because of it.
