HEHEHE...
I totally ROCK at darts & lucky guesses!!

OK, seriously:
I read hex, have a bit of a programming background & know what I'm looking for, so usually just a matter of finding where mitsu moved the info to.

It would be easier with a cable...

Maybe someone local with a cable (a Evo owner?) would be willing to try reading your ECU rom for ya?
They may need the latest 8190006.xml def file -- see post #161 for details & the zip file.

Sorry I've been quiet the last two days. I just moved out of an apartment into a condo and I spent all day yesterday (7am - 11:30pm) moving stuff and then all day today (7:30am - 10 pm) unpacking and arranging stuff. So I haven't had any time to tune or even jump on here. But I'm back now and good to go!

Tuning Update:
So I did a quick re-tune earlier this week (see my post earlier) and have been testing it out. I have seen some improvement, but I also need to fix some problems spots (car actually bucks while accelarating!) Not too good. Anyway, I've read everyone posts since I was last on and its great to see this taking off. I'm glad this is now making an impact on the base Lancers. It just wasn't right that only the EVOs could have all the fun

Also, a couple nights ago I was chatting with sicktight (Tom) about some of my issues (running very very rich - AFRs of under 10) and we basically have the same setup and he was running around 11-12 AFRs. Well, turns out I have a bored fuel rail. So I'm looking for a stock fuel rail that I can put back into my car and then see how the turbo runs. I really want the kit to be running well before I really start tuning it.

So the bored fuel rail was causing low AFR's. Can you explain? Or are you just trying to eliminate that as a possible cause. I have a stock fuel rail, but if bored is making my car run super lean I think I'll be needing it. My car is waiting for me in Florida, once I get down there I'll be, hopefully, getting that cable and taking it to http://www.jestrtuning.com/ near Orlando. I emailed them, but the guy is in Jamaicaman.

I thought the purpose of the bored fuel rail was to ensure adequate fuel supply when "taxing" the engine with mods. I'm just curious because I don't know that I have ever been really thrilled with mine and I was wondering if it would even be necessary for me since I got the FPR.

Well you only benefit from a Bored one if you're turbo... tha'ts how I see it. What can it do if you're NA, make you run even more Richer? lol

I have a bored out fuel rail just sitting around, which I'll probably install soon after my turbo is complete.

Yeah, it's been one of those mods that people start breaking out the butt dyno for, and then say they get a gain in performance In high gear or when passing on the highway. I have been wondering If I wouldnt be better off with my stocker on. I am looking forward to getting to a tuner and seeing what my AFR is. Hopefully I will be able to get a ECU reflash too.
