440cc Injectors have been known to give idle issues from what i've read. The injectors are too big for the car and unless you runstandalone or some kind of injector size compensation the ECU alone cannot scale back the fuel delivery enough. Perhaps i'm wrong, but i am still tryin to retain driveability. Plus i am still almost positive 370cc injectors can handle around 10psi in terms of fuel delivery. I know they are whats included in the RRM stage 2 kit and thats what, 9psi? I dont see any reason why 1more psi would create a serious lack of fuel from 370cc. Plus why do 10-11psi when 9 psi is still a kick in the face, and a little more reliable If i want to get 250whp i might as well just buy an evo and go from there hehe which i will be doing in a year or so when i leave NY. Then i'll be in the hunt for a clean 89' 240sx to garage and build a weekend s13 drift machine

Well, allow me to be the first to state that Z's METAdata definition file doesn't work for me. The addresses for proper scaling of the axis on my ROM are different from his. However, the data value addresses from his definition file do match up to the ones from my ROM.

the reason(or at least what i believe) for larger injectors not working are for just the normal piggybacks because of their lack of ignition timing. they do not modify fuel adjustment directly, but rather indirectly by modifying the airflow signal. a side effect of this method is that ignition maps are also indirectly modified as ignition maps are based on airflow(or more rather LOAD) vs rpm. I just have a modified MAS and i already have a jump in timing ignition from 5 degrees(stock) to 16 degrees due to an increase in airflow readings at idle and AFC adjustment. ECUFlash could resolve this. i haven't fully looked into this and am waiting for a final definition file.

370cc injectors with the vortech fmu could support more than 10 psi if the fuel pump tops out at 90psi, although i don't know why anyone would want to tax their fuel pump like that all the time. also, the vortech fmu does have a small minority who have had problems. the RRM piggyback may also be a reason for the 9 psi limit due to my reason above. not a lack of fuel, but a lack of timing.

Send me a copy of your rom & I'll see what I can do for ya to find your proper data value addresses.

Here's a copy of my ROM file. I thought we might run into this problem. It's actually a common one if you look on the OPENecu forums. Let's see if we can figure out all the METAdata value addresses for all the different Lancer ROMs and get a collection of xml files going!! Thanks!!

yea.. if the metadata value changes for each ECU in each vehicle... That's something we should take into consideration....

But i've noticed, that alot of you have 2003's? does no one drive a 02 or what?... lol

I don't think that every vehicle has a unique ECU. I think that there will be a handful of different META data files for each year.
