Confirmed: Evo ROM Can Be Flashed to Lancer ECU
no i havent been able to edit at all. i dont even see the option to do so. there is no fuel column for me to pull up. i uninstalled ecuflash 1.42.. and then reinstalled nothing changed
http://www.box.net/shared/j1j7yzk1ch thats the old ROM from my ECU...512kb.

If its failing its probably becuase of the evo 8 rom on there now.
Go into the xml for the 94170715 rom you have loaded on the car and change the memory model from sh7052 to sh0755 and try to flash your stock rom back to the car. I hope this works in tricking ecuflash to letting you.
Your file is locked too and I can't save it to my desktop to figure out whats going on. I can't tell if you flashed the car with the evo 8 rom then tried to download it again or if you saved a clean copy.

If you mean the value that map is using not at the moment but i can give you instructions to get values of X from the computer
. TPS position should be enough to log at this time but there is another variable which i'm highly curious about.

I need a definition file for it.
Is there any way to find the limit for both the shift times and shift pressure?
If we can log it we can see if the ECU responds to the changes and find the limit.
Also, Im assuming the "Duty vs Load" maps are for downshifting?

The duty vs load are totally untested.

then i took it for a drive i did feel a kick in to gear a lil hard going from P to R and getting it to go forward from a stop to a lil bit but i was able to drive around the block around my house and got back and let it idle with out a prob i even tried a lil boost and it worked fine OMG i just tried it right now i test wrote it and it went fine so i decided to write it on and guess what it idled!!!

I'm not exactly sure what the maps mean for the 5 speed and i'm still trying to discover than damned shift point maps ARGH!
The transmission code is very spaghetti like in places which is super frustrating.
Notes to myself and others:
So the memory variables i want to check are:
810A - Which is the memory address which at this time is the memory address which all the maps except one use
8100 - Which is the fifth shift duty memory address axis i don't think its right at this time probably something else
814C - ADC from the transmission channel h19 which seems to be used in some maps I'm hoping its like a temp sensor

but at least i prove that it does work lol i guess ill wait till u figure out the tranny

Sweet since you got the time could you try getting the evo rom running on it just for curiosities sake?
