RoadSpike, I noticed that the "1st to 2nd Shift Pressure" map is in percent.
And the rest of the transmission maps are just in 'units'

How do I change them to 'units' like the rest?
Edit the map, by right clicking, and chang it from WDC which i was using as a test to unit8 scaling

Important NEWS!

Lancer 2005-2006 DO NOT UPLOAD any evo rom to your car

Just got off the phone with shinjinius and I figured out that 2005 and possibly 2006 use the mitsukernelocp flashing method instead of plain mitsukernel. I walked him through his car reflash so his car is working again.

Its possible the evo gta will work on it and we did manage to get a 2002 lancer es rom working on it but the flashing methods are much different. So the xml I provided will not flash to the car period.

Hey I just thought of something. Kinda off the current subject but does lean spool apply here? Will I have to disable this to get consistent afrs? Slowly weeding out my knock issues but its taking time since I have been super busy havent had much time to log.

Road Spike, do we have the ability to turn off Lean Spool with the GTA ROM?

Yes its just part of the periphery maps which are the same on any mitsubishi thankfully. Periphery FBA bit 0 should be set to 0 to turn off lean spool.

Lean spool while not evil is horrific to tune with imho. It tends to make the car go richer and richer as you go through the gears. So you could tune a car to be a nice 11.5AFR in gear 3 but have it go to 11.0 in 4th or even richer. I hate the way it leans the map out so I turn it off for direct control.

Once off you map will go very rich but will be consistent in all gears.

Is there anything we need to change in the Periphery Maps to run the GTA rom?

I noticed some are different from the stock Lancer ROM.

Not ever owning a evo 7 I can't give you everything. Basically it shouldn't be any different than that thread senate posted about running an evo 8 ecu in the lancer.

I imagine one of the bigger things will be fuel pressure and wastegate solenoids.

BTW I think I found the shift point maps hurrah! Some one gave me a tip and they look from damn spiffy. Scaling is weird though I'm thinking its really related to output shaft speed rather than engine rpm. I suspect they just happen to correlate :P

Means I'll have to make a scaling for every gear shouldn't be too hard just ratios lawl.

811C and 811D in 02 and 03 MUT for me instead of 8100 and 8101. This one is much more important.

make sure you begin by typing in "0x" before the number in hex

So 811c is 0x811c

also i just remember do you also want me to change the other ones with these? or leave them stock

We want to modify 00-06 to: (Really 3 variables for 2 bytes of data)
00 = 0x810A
01 = 0x810B
02 = 0x8100
03 = 0x8101
04 = 0x814C
05 = 0x814D
