Yep thats what I would do.

Link can you try the origional shift pressures and maps in just for a test?

If the car wont shift right I think I'm going to give up on the merging of the rom into this car and work on a different method.

What I'll do is take a look at tephra's large map code and get it into some dead space of your rom. I wont put in the alt maps or anything just the large maps for now.

I'll have to look for that fuel cap and load cap point again but that shouldn't be incredibly difficult.

If we get the maps working correctly we can forget about the GTA rom and just focus on making the lancer auto work right.

I meant leave the shift maps alone when you test the gta rom.

I want to see if its going to work at all. It looks kind of bleak at this point to be honest.

I will probably end up modding your rom to use big maps for ignition and fuel which will solve most of the problems :P

I tried the GTA shift pressure and shift time on the Lancer ROM and it does not like it!
Shifts were slooow and it felt like the transmission would fall off

I guess I'll be upgrading a rom then to use big maps I plan on leaving the stock fuel and ignition maps where they are and just pointing the main fuel routines to a new spot.

I'll get that fuel limit and load limit patch out in there too shouldn't be too hard just will take me awhile to get it all looking smooth :P

Link can you email me a completely stock rom for your car?

I like your car becuase it so closely matches the evo gta rom so I can align everything.

I noticed a few things when i disassembled your rom bro. First off that fuel axis for rpm and load is not right.. I'm not entirely sure what its pointed to but its not right lets just say that.

Injector latency for volts also not right. Probably many others in there to. I'm going to be correcting these in a master XML.

If you could send me a bone stock one that would be nice. really I mean the whole 512kb portion

Oh and yeah i did find your battery volts it wasn't that bad

Edit:
Found the load and fuel limits yay

I'll probably implement the table tomorrow i'm kind of tired

Well it would be nice if you could find the time to do that

A perfectly stock rom would be ideal to use for modding.

Long as all the values are stock it wont matter

I will assemble a better and complete xml for this rom id and then implement the bigger maps from tephra's patch. Should be pretty awesome when its done you'll get a map that's scaled up to 350 load and 8500 rpm.

I'll disable the fuel limiter and load limiters too. We wont need to be hindered by them in this patch lol.

If it all works to plan this can become the ultimate auto rom

Scaling up to 8500rpm would be overkill. The piston speeds are pretty high from the 4G94's 95.8mm stroke. Even with a built motor and valvetrain I wouldn't see being able to safely rev over 7500rpm (23.95 m/sec), at most, for very long. 7200rpm (22.99 m/sec) is highest I would recommend for a built 4G94 for longevity. Everyone has their own opinion on maximum safe piston speeds. This is simply mine.
