im debating wether to do this w/ a turbo vs a full blown 4g94 with a turbo... i gotta calculate cost vs effective ness tooo... good luck to anyone else that goes this route

) has a shop so we are gonna port and polish it when i get it. When i go to car meets or races here (i watch but dont participate!!) .. NOn mitsu and even a couple evo guys find it "cool" that i have a turboed lancer ("i've never seen that b4!! " lol) so imagine if i did this.... and boosted it?? Ownership my friends!!!

i spoke with the owner of this car about this issue.. cuz right now im auto. he said.. you need the bell housing from the 4g64... and you take the gears out of the lancer's auto tranny... and slap it right into the g64's tranny... DIRECT FIT!... and you just do the install just like he instructs..... im definitely doing this swap but im debating wether to do auto tranny or manny.......
IF you get an ECU from another car, but don't have the VIN, each eCU has a serial # that can allow a Mitsu dealer to make a immobiler key that will work. The S# should be on the ECU.
You can't just walk in with somebody else's VIN and have a key made without showing proof of ownership, or shouldn't be able to. Even if they do it, you'll just have a door key, because the new key has to be programmed to the ECU - so in other words the car would have to be there as well.

so are u saying if i buy an ecu from another car it wont work??
