Angry Mods to increse mpg

with the high cost of gas, which hopefully will come down some day. are there any mods that will increse our mpg. cause i live in san diego and we buy gas at close to $4 per gallon. currently i have an intake, custom cat back, lowered on nex. what can i do to increase mpg, trust i have stop smashing the peddal down "except on those fustrating days back form work or school".

That's the only effective way I know. When I take it easy I can gain approx. 75 to 100 miles on my tank.

People might tell you to get the piggyback, but it will end up with the same result. It might lower your mpg, but you'll have to pay more expensive gas, and you'll have to pay over 400$ for the unit. So the piggyback ain't gonna be your solution.

put ur car on a diet. Rip out the seats, sound deadening, spare tire, etc etc. Get smaller wheels.

LOL

get a safc2 and wideband. its saving me a TON in gas mileage. i beat my car daily 100+ on i-81 and redline constantly just ta give u an idea.

right now i went 225 miles and im at half a tank it is getting about 35-42mpg, depending on where i drive, if i drive on hills i get like 35, if i drive just to school on the interstate i get close to 42mpg!!!!!

before my safc2 i was getting about 22-26mpg, i had to lean it out 40+% in some areas, im also running at 13.5-13.8 afr which IS safe for this n/a motor, some ppl say it is not but i had turbotrix, cnfx, and rydesnrythms say it is perfectly fine and im running at normal temps.

even if u got safc and leaned out to the "safe" limit of 12.7afr u would gain a few mpg and ponies!!

Wideband 02 gauge + SAFC2 and your mpg should be in 30s.
Also intake, wires, plugs, fuel injector cleaner, intake manifold?, throttle body?.
