*little update*well all my expenses has finally been paid for my wedding next week and i can start putting some money into my baby again haven't really ordered anything special but just though i'll let you guys know i have not given up on this project i've recently ordered my cam gears from a fellow evom thanks to TKevo and i oredered my evo 8 steering wheel and 5spd shifter box since my car was automatic none of these parts were really important at this point in my build but hey weddings are expensive and i just had a little extra cash floating around and these parts were within the budget at the time and i could not pass them up.

At the end of the month i will be looking for a evo 8 short block since my head has not been sold i decided to keep it if anyone knows of any please pm me a price shipped to 33101 miami i will take care of it from there

here are pics of the parts ordered

$110
$125

$50

Ok guys well I just got off the phone with my parts provider in miami and i sealed a deal with him for the short block and the intake manfold which means when i ship them here i have a full engine minus a few head parts I still havn't decided what i am going to do about the transmission yet.I have found a junkyard that has a few salvaged awd outlanders so i am waiting for them to get back to me with a price so i can see how much my budget will be if it's too expensive i will go ahead with the fwd and do the awd conversion when i have enough cash saved. So anyways....i am down to the point where i would like to start doing some fab work to my car next month when i get paid and ship the block and intake manifold.Does anyone know where I can get this enine mount bracket? or if someone has it for sale pm me with a shipping price to the cayman islands.

Go to mitsubishiparts.net I found the one I posted up there. Brand new for like $50.00 I think.

Sorry, it was mitsubishiparts.com not .net. Look under the online catalog, put in the 2003-2006 Lancer evo. go to fender, structual components and rails, engine bracket, right side only and it should be part number 13 that you need.

Ok small update so i finally finnished honeymooning and received the camgears, evo 8 steering wheel and the 5 spd shifter box yesterday.the stock steering wheel was taken out and trashed the evo 8 wheel was a peice of cake to install just need the airbag for it now car already feels faster lol also the automatic shifter was taken out and replaced with a 5 spd shifter box from a evo 9 evrything bolted right up thank God
also installed the camgears today just need the coilpacks and i'll have a complete head.

Automatic shfter out and never to return lol

Where the automatic shifetr was mounted and where the manual shifter will be mounted all the bolts line up perfect

The automatic console is reusable but i will be changing it when i am ready to order my carpet and other interior panels

Also just recevied my new cam gears from Evom member TKEvo

Also decided to take the car off the blocks a few days ago so i can pretend i am driving it how you guys like my new rims

How she is sitting now

I like to see progress
So are you going to get the shifter console from a manual lancer/evo or just reuse the auto one you have now?

My next plans are to order my pedel set on friday I may hold off on the block for now since it would be easier to get all other stuff out of the way before installing the motor depending on how this month's budget looks i am hoping to get the engine harness also.

gonna start removing the automatic pedel set tommorrow
