Ugly wheels and tiny brakes, fantastic. Would it kill them to make it a LITTLE sporty? Subaru's is the same way damn it. If it's not going to be blazingly fast it better turn and stop like it's on rails, and it doesn't appear it will. Curious how many the dealer I work at will get in...?

I am interested in seeing this new couple toyota/subau are each releasing. this looks to be a dramatic spin off of that new subaru coupe.

I'd probably say I should be racing in GT300 instead of wasting time on EvoM.

LOL, so with a little more power people will crash this car? Give me a break. People crash Miata's and other low powered good handling cars all the time. It's not power that is getting them into trouble. You have fallen for the BS Toyota hype (low power is fun) machine for this vehicle. It may be a good car as it stands, but for it to be great. It needs more power and a turbo engine option. Just imagine if modern Porsche's and Ferrari's only had 200bhp. Sure, it can still be fun, but not at the same level as when it's 400bhp+.

I don't think it's a bad looking car at all, and I like how tiny it is. I'm just not sure how this car is better than an S2000 was. I get the "fun to drive" aspect, and that's a huge deal for me. My S2000 definitely wasn't the fastest car I owned, but it was by far the most fun to drive. Even with as fun to drive as it was, I always wanted more power from that engine, and it made 40 more hp than the Toyobaru will. They could have at least threw us a bone and made it turbo from the factory so that it wouldn't be so hard to get more power out of it.

I'm going to sit this one out until they put out a more powerful version. I really like everything about the car except for the engine. Maybe the aftermarket will be able to get the car up to 300hp for less than $10k, and in that case, I'd be interested.

No, actually, I own both a high HP turbocharged car and a Miata and *gasp* I find the Miata more fun to drive. More power does not equal more fun to drive. You haven't driven the right kinds of cars if that's the kind of simplistic view you take to cars.
