I also never said I disliked the Evo, nor do I make a habit of going into a thread about the Evo just to tell people how ****ty the car is and how stupid people are for buying an Evo.

Look up, son. This in The Loft section. It's the new name for the Other Car section. It's specifically about non-Evo discussion.
I am talking you and your comments on the Evo all the time. lol

I thought you bright enough to see that, oh well.

I didn't referred that, just the fact you don't have one neither interest to buy one as long as i know you through the net.

and you push people that comment of yours.

I think you need to take more English lessons and then get back to us. There's a big difference in not sucking Evo dick all the time, and repeatedly posting in a thread about a car you openly state you don't like.

I've seen two engine failures. One was an early car with an early experimental tune. It didn't blow, it just bent two rods. Luckily the owner was sensitive to the way it ran, so he caught it before it got worse. He got a built motor using a good core with a good block, good crank, good head and related components.

The other engine was from a guy who had engine trouble, so he drove it to the dealer for diagnosis, stuff happened, then it was towed to us with schrapnel in the oil pan and two windows in the block. Diagnosis was kinda easy at that point.

so then it is rods that are the weak point (I use the term "weak" very loosely as they can take 550tq) of this engine based on what you've seen? or is there something else that causes the rods to give out?

This is the latest trend. LSPI seems to affect a variety of small displacement direct injection turbo engines. Read more here;

From Ford:

"New Focus RS Update

North American production of the Focus RS has begun, however, orders will not be selected for scheduling until further notice.

Production is now beginning to ramp up with 16MY units to be built between now and August 2016

We are expecting the first North American units to be shipped from Germany beginning in April / May.

Transit time to Halifax port is expected to be about 60 days and then will vary depending on dealer location. "
