Focus RS
It is odd how Ford is handling the RS productions, not even giving firm production estimates. I would have thought they would have wanted at least 1 on most dealer lots as a draw.

Sounds to me like Ford wants to be sure its right or as right as it can be to the point of allowing the release date to slip a ways. At least that was the impression I got from the project manager in the RS development videos. If I had a downpayment, I'd be ok with waiting.

Same thing I felt when my kids got quiet while playing in the next room...........something's wrong.
Heaven forbid a US assembly plant could open up to bolster US production.

I think we both agree that something is not right, and they are trying to fix it. Perhaps the issue is openness? I guess that comes down to what people believe Ford should be saying about the situation. I don't see them as owing anyone a required explanation, but I'm sure others believe that since they put a $1K downpayment on a first-of-a-kind $36K car, Ford should be pandering to their impatience for a new toy.
