Yea that is how most people do it on cars.

Again, I don't need to as I also have adjustment from my LCA. I currently run -3.7 with more adjustment to spare. Rather not chop the car up for no reason.

Ya, glad I am not going to have to do anything like that. If anything, I will need to cut out the webbing on the under side of the perch. There is a chance the spring or something else on the top of the coilover is going to hit.

Got my last piece to the puzzle in today!

You probably won't have to, there is a ton of room there with normal sized coilover springs. It's with oem style springs you have to worry about that.

@razorlab be happy you didn't get a divorced rear setup. I'm trying to set ride height and have to remove the shock everytime. There is just no room to get the spanners in there. Thinking I might as well just use a punch and hammer to adjust it.

Edit - also, what measurement do you have from ground to fender, front and rear?

Oof. well at least once you get it set, you don't have to worry about it.

I measure from center of the wheel to fender. OEM Is 14.5" front/rear and I lowered mine .5" to 14.0" front/rear.

Ok perfect. That's exactly where I'm at. Tackling the front right now. Little tip for you for next time. Use a 7mm Allen to open up the strut clamp.

Tried that too. :P Trust me, the clamp was open, struts weren't having it. :P

Haha. Mine popped right out with the help of a pry bar. Hopefully the other side goes the same.

Ok I got my top hat situation figured out. As I mentioned above, the Verus top hats don't work with Ohlins. This is true, unless you have a machine shop and can make some very basic stepped washers. So tomorrow at work, I am going to make these stepped washers and I will be in business. Stupid that Verus won't make something like this and offer people with Ohlins the option to use their top hats.

The problem solver will look something like one of these.

Nice. I aligned my car again today because I added a tad more negative camber. For some reason I keep getting the steering wheel off center the first time so I always have to redo the front after a short drive. Even with a tool that locks the steering wheel. I guess I just need to do more alignments to get better at it. At least I am saving money and time.

You know it! Should have them ready to go here in a few hours. He has to write a program for the CNC lathe and then they will be made.

I get all my parts through my shop.

My coilover fix is done. Just 2 of these tiny little parts (left is what it came with, right is the problem solver) solved the issue. So sad.
