Ya that spot where the gash is. thats rock chip/rubber central for track use. My car is peppered there like none other already.

Does the Mothers R3 work that good? I got some cone stripes I need to get off the side of the car.

Get some flaps. I just installed the front ones and it helped a ton with the chips. Still get a bunch of rubber marks though.

R3 works well. I bought some of the Griots Garage stuff and it sucks compared.

I have this. OPR wipes right off without so much as rubbing. But, it seems a bit oily-ish, IIRC. Are they all like that?

Thanks for this. Looks like it would be a very tight fit , if not a big no on mine since I have a spring there as well. Maybe 305 would be a better fit for my setup. 295 clears with ease with 18x10.5 +35

Another day at Lime Rock. Second day being dry. Wonderful weather today. Reminded me of California actually.

More importantly... today was an event with Hooked on Driving and it was four hours of a totally open track. 5000% completely spoiled me and ruined all other track events for me. Was amazing. Low car count, could go on/off the track as you please... amazing.

Dropped my lap times by more than two seconds. Anything under 1 minute at LRP is very fast for a street car. I added a but more negative camber in the front and lowered the front a little. It made the car more loose but honestly now that I am more comfy with the car, it was faster and I started to enjoy driving it with the *** out. The Conti Forces are holding me back now so I look forward to getting the Nankang CR-S's mounted.

Yellow GT4 was on hoosiers.

Here is a great example of the power differences between the 2020 Supra vs the 2021+ supra at Lime Rock Park. Yellow is 2021+. Not a huge difference but you can see the difference in the straight. haha

@razorlab that looks like a fun little track! Good job on your time improvement. Did the yellow supra have anything crazy done or just the basics?

After today, my first day driving on Ohlins, I have to say they are the best riding coilover I have had to date. No more rear end float and they almost ride like stock, until you hit a big dip. Can't wait to see how they do at next weekends event.

And in other news, I just bought a very ugly boring car tonight.... sick of these gas prices so I went electric.

The yellow supra was 100% stock. I was a good 5-6 seconds faster overall. We chatted earlier and said if we ever caught up to each other on track we would play a little. So I waved off his point by's when I came up on him and played a little bit, thus the video footage.

Yea man, I loved my ohlins on the Evo. That said, the MCS are yet another step up. It's almost crazy how the MCS don't care about anything, it's almost impossible to upset the car even when you do stupid **** like getting two wheels in the air after launching over curbing because you messed up your line passing someone. I may have done that today, lol.

You want to try living in the UK! We are up to £1.72 per litre of your ordinary pump gas, about £7.82 per gallon which with a 1.23 £ to $ conversion rate is $9.63 per gallon.

Diesel and premium are around £1.90 per litre here currently.

thats what I've been trying to tell y'all, haha. what Ohlins are to the cookie cutter Taiwanese 1-1.5k coilovers is what MCS is to Ohlins. the R&T anyway, TTX Ohlins are prolly as good or better than MCS. But TTX's come at an even prettier price tag and there isn't an entry level 1 way option at the 3-4k price, you gotta jump straight to 8k+

although maybe my Ohlins experience is a little jaded cause I have double the spring rate on the Ohlins on my NC than the standard Ohlins rate.

They say we might hit $10 a gallon here in california this summer. If that happens, my choice to go ugly boring electric will be worth it.

ya I get it now haha. I see why so many people run Ohlins now. Maybe one day I'll make the jump to something better but these should hold me over for quite a while. I had Feal double adjustable on my Evo and even though they were more money, they couldn't compare.
