They had a ton of life left. The outer blocks have shallower grooves. These only had three events on them.
I chose to retire them as the rubber by the cut was delaminated and you can see where there was some cord failure. Tires are cheaper than stuffing my car.
here you can see the outer tread block compared to how much depth is still on the inner grooves:
Did a bunch of datalogging at the track yesterday. Here is the last session of the day, 14 laps in. The car does an excellent job of cooling for the pace it runs.
That looks like a fun track for sure. Is the red supra much faster with the aero? Any power mods to it?
He is about 2.2 secs faster than me at Lime Rock.
Stock power 2021, so 40whp more than my 2020
NineLives rear wing, Verus front splitter, and some other misc aero bits
MCS coilovers
2.22 secs faster with Maxxis RC-1 100tw tires (57.9)
1.22 secs faster with Maxxis VR-1 200tw tires (58.9)
Keep in mind, it's a short track so that is a good chunk of time faster.
My current best is a 1:00.12, I'm still shooting for a sub 60 before the season is over. I think I might have one more shot at it. Right now I am consistent with a ton of 1:00.XX laps. I know where I can go faster, just working up the guts.

Would be curious to swap cars for a session and see how much of that is in the driver and how much is in the car. 2.2 is a massive chunk of time on such a short track

Agreed, he is a little faster driver than me as well, especially since the aero really makes the Supra feel planted in the higher speed sections. I bet the cars are more about 1.22 to .22 seconds difference between the two, given same skill level.
The corners I know I can go faster in are the higher speed corners of the track. We are about the same the first half of the track which is lower speed, and he starts walking away from me in the back half of the track, which are all high speed/high risk corners. These types of corners are what take me awhile to work up to when learning tracks. I have only been driving Lime Rock since March of this year.

64* ambient... hmm. Would like to see how it works in 100* ambient.

Going to have to wait until next season to see it datalogged like this. I can tell you I have looked at my P3 gauge (which pulls from the same info) and have seen the same in 90*+ and humid track days.

Thats honestly not bad for how little you have done to the car. I'm sitting here watching the grand am series running lime rock and they are in the low 50s. If you can get the supra down to 55ish with more power, aero and seat time, that's going to be super impressive.
