I am not aware of them, we are Velocity Driving. https://velocitydriving.com/ We also rent the cars too. Fun stuff if you are into super cars.
I've done this once, in Vegas. I got to drive a 458 GT3 car, but they make me brake and shift WAY to early. I won't go back again. For the average person, maybe it's fun just to be in the car. That part was cool. But for those of us who really want to see what it's like.... Not so much.
Dude was constantly yelling to brake but my instincts were fighting me the whole time. He kept trying to coach me of when to turn in, how to track out, and where the line was, but I would do it all first so he said "oh. Yeah. Like that" a lot of times.
Glad I did it the one time. Putting my friend into a GT3 and watching her rip around also made it all worth it.
But I won't be going back.
Nice. Not sure if you know Imagine Lifestyles. I used to be their contact in Houston that gathers up the instructors and other event workers. https://imaginelifestyles.com/
Their cars are probably good for the general public but its meh for me. They put high miler tires I had to invite the people I instructed/drove for to our next autox event so they get their money's worth lol. Pictures with the Ferraris and Lambos are great for FB tho

For our company you can go as fast as you want without breaking traction or tire noise. Break hard in a straight line, if you are breaking through the corner it is already too late. Slow in fast out. Also reminder the car has to last for everyone else. I let my drivers hit 70-80 percent of the car and again as fast as they want.
Oh man, that website screams 90's and brings back some memories. I remember those guys.

Another instructor is reportedly driving one of the student's supercharged car in the 1:47/1:48 range, and another auto crosser is also running well below 1:50. Oh well, I will be better prepared next time. But I had a good time, and I think just about everyone else who went had fun at the event.

I got to see one of the LEDs for the Rev limiter flicker a bit before making me shift. The tires never made a single sound. The car was gutless since we were probably 2k away from making any power.

This is how my scripted line goes. I've added "Supercars got super-brakes so you should experience that too" lol
I wont be surprised if St. Peter brings this up when i'm at the gates...

I think my friend from here did the exact same thing as you. in vegas. same car. Hes a very experienced racer down here and has raced at national level etc.
The instructor guy said oh have you done any racing and he said na never driven a race car for a laugh. Said the guy was almost jumping out the window on the first hot lap cause he was telling him to brake like he was to you and my friend just ignored him. He got to a high speed kink which he knew would be flat and the guy was like brake brake! and he goes na its definitely flat! and pinned it. The guy realised he could drive pretty quick and got out and was like youve driven race cars quite alot havnt you?
Said it was a good laugh and decent value also.

Nice. I was told I'd be kicked out of I didn't listen, so I decided to follow their rules, since their car and their business
I'd love to have told them "f**k you I do what I want" and prove a point... But I've never been that guy. LOL
Well, that and one of their instructors grabbed a friend of mine's steering wheel one time, when he didn't listen. I prefer to not die.
I'm sure you guys have ridden shotgun on track before, and I can say with 100% certainty that it FEELS like the driver is going 50% over whatever I would do.....
Then when you switch seats and they are $%@*& a brick you realize it is just all relative when your not in control!
You all are giving me flash backs of when I used to instruct. What a bad idea that was. I can't believe I put my own life into morons hands for free track days.
Speaking of almost getting kicked out, we attended a Ford Focus driving event. There were driver rankings on tv monitors all over the place and the 1st placer in every run group gets a brand new gopro. They also had professional drivers setting the "ideal" times. So we decided to run in different run groups. I think all of us did the twisting of the seatbelt, turned off the complimentary AC and drove the crap out of those cars. 3 of us beat our session pro-drivers and 5 won gopros.... in every run group they would ask "who else did you come with? we cant have guys like you setting bad examples to other participants". Noone squealed, but they did see us together later
You were shifting WAY too early. That and braking is the headset thing to teach. 458 revs to 9000+ you have to rev it. The guy wouldn’t let you rev it?

You can see him waving his hand, telling me to shift. They were very clear on what would happen if I didn't follow instruction.
It's weird, because they pre-qualify you before you go, asking what experience you have. I wasn't expecting to set a PB, but pushing the car above 50% would have been great. I was basically doing warm up laps the entire time.
I started driving Lime Rock Park this year. I told myself I would keep the stock 2020MY power and no aero until I could get under a sub 1 minute lap. My goal was to accomplish this before the year was over. I did this today with a best lap time of 0:59.72! This car continues to impress me. Stock power and brawling with the big guns on the track. Time for some winter upgrades!
