The grand Cherokee crd was only offered in 07 and 08. 08 had the face lift, interior changes, and trailer sway control. I'm pretty happy I found a 08 with under 60k miles and happy I went with this cause it serves perfect daily duties rather than driving a full size truck.

I would def prefer to tow with a full size but the small diesel SUVs (GC, VW touareg, Audi q7, Mercedes ML320/350) all do double duties real well.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of what I call my mini-totor. I've been using an enclosed Pace trailer towed by a converted Penske moving truck. I just didn't like the car getting funky towing in the rain. A trailer builder custom built the RV on a Ford E350 chassis with living quarters, shower/toilet and it tows great. Mileage is about 7.5 towing the 24ft trailer with vehicle and equipment. Coincidentally, it will be sold once I sell the race car. I've attached a couple pics below and there are more at this link:

2001 F350 5.4 Gas - Will be replaced soon with (hopefully) 06 Chevy Duramax.

I get about 10mpg towing my 24ft enclosed (just picked it up for $2000).

16.5mpg?! Damn!

My friends brother has a 2012 Ford F350 Superduty 6.7L, and on our way to the track, towing his SC300 with an open steel trailer, we were averaging 18.6mpg.

Couldn't believe my eyes. Wish I could afford a $60k+ truck.

I was impressed when my friends duramax made 15.5-16mpg over a 20 hour round trip to chicago (AMS) w/ a car in tow. 18.8 is insane.

guess i'm new to this show but...

http://www.motoiq.com/projects/toyot...ta_tundra.aspx

this truck is nasty - a lot of info for you guys who were talking about supercharging the sequoia.. the car actually gets better mpg fyi. 500hp 550lbft is just plain nasty, i would love to have that, plus the TRD upgraded brakes.. I can't imagine how terrifying it would be going downhill and the brakes are getting a little soft in the truck - then what do you do???

all that said, I'd love a sequoia to do all of this with. I read that SUVs aren't preferred but you can't beat that utility!

i heard from the dealer the Super charged tundra actually needs more gas . ( i was on the edge to super charging, when i was getting mine. I did actually had an offer for a very good price for a kit.
But it is a BEAST for sure, and sounds amazing!
