XLT trim, I literally walked in and asked what they had with the 3.5L. Leather is nice but they were offering crazy deals on the XLT and even this model has **** I don't care about. Especially the "Pro Trailer Backup Assist", seriously, it's not that hard to just use the bottom of the steering wheel.

The XLT always have the best deals. Assuming you grabbed a '19 on a steal since it's approaching end of the model year.
I just like AC seats too much to not have them every again. Maybe the cloth will eventually get it lol
08’ Yukon Denali with the 6.2L. Pulled with it for the first time this morning and it did well. Averaged about 13mpg. Trans temp averaged about 175-180. Will prob put a Tru Cool cooler on it and should be solid.
the new palisade has some pretty neat features for towing with suspension and anti-sway and lining up hitches, but another 5k limit, just a hair too low

Trans temp at 175-180 is fine, no need for additional cooling.
Depends where he was towing honestly. If it was a short / flat drive, then upgrading to a bigger trans-cooler may help a lot. I'd imagine when going through steep grades, the temps will start climbing passed 200F + on the stock cooler.
Not the Evo, as it is still street legal, but my track only s2k. It's a bit lighter car, but still requires towing to and from the track. This is with the Kwik load 18' trailer. I was averaging 16MPG doing about 65-70mph, which surprised me. I thought that it would be worse as my city gas mileage is 18MPG. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the way the truck towed. Did not seem to exhibit too much effort.
i know this is about rigs, but what trailer company are people going with? featherlite seems common, trailex is so expensive..but damn their trailers are 800-900 lbs

New Tacomas are over 6,000 lb., but those trucks are sluggish with no trailer. You’ll definitely be over 4,000 rpm on grades. I have a Trailex and have owned a few over the years. Keep your eyes open and you’ll pick one up for under 50% of the new price.
