All - I've been running the evo for about a 1.5 seasons now in STU with no coilovers and I think it's time so I'm taking the plunge on OHLINS. I'm having Mr. Mueller assemble and spring them for a STU autox setup. Can anyone comment on front and rear spring rates? This car is not my DD (not sure if this helps make the spring decision or not).

Thanks!

600/800 seems to be an acceptable start. still a lot of variables, but valve for that, and you will have plenty of range to fine tune.

I was going to suggest somewhere in the 600-800 front/800-900 rear range.

Sorry guys, I talked to our fabricator today, and the parts can't be formed due to the void areas in the design. We revised the parts, but won't be ready for another week or so.

At Sean's request, we will be offering the mounts as a kit with adjustable HD extended end-links, that will allow use of the full adjustment range. Also with the adjustable end-links, you can dial out any preload on the front bar, for corner balancing etc.

See y'all at the ProSolo opener tomorrow.

Rick

Interesting. That's the first suggestion I've seen for a square spring rate setup on the Evo. What's the reasoning for less spring and more bar in the rear?
