Yea variances in section width between tires will change things but most 265 also fit very well on a 9.5".

i plan on running re71rs, staying on street tires. they're not as exaggerated in their widths at all, pretty mild

Yep a 9.5 will be totally fine for a 255 tire, hence why I need a second set of wheels that are smaller for track. Which I’m totally fine with anyways, then I don’t have to worry about eating up tires when I drive the car.

I was tempted to get another set since they are my favorite wheel but it’s excessive that extra 3k can be used for something else lol.

which set do you have? i'm planning to sell my setup in the spring/summer next year.. btw, ce28s are discontinued. i think the SL's are still being produced but there's no 18x9.5 that fits the evo 8/9 without spacers now.

yeah I know sucks but makes the value of OG CEs stay up. I have 10 spokes so ce28ns. I also have a X and not an 8/9. I’m just going to get the set of Enkei’s or the gram lights, mich more cost effective for the time being.

They're supposed to announce the schedule (and hopefully rules) later this week/early next week.

There definitely seems like it’s going to be rule changes. If you try to pull up the rules the site generates an error even if you previously had the page loaded already.

Lol well yea they're not going to run the same rules two years in a row. I'm going to guess most of it is still going to largely reflect GTA rules.

Insurance being the issue as usual. Talked to them about it at the first South event too. I just pray it's not open registration..
