Sup w/them 2026 Spring Projects?
Same thing was assumed with my MAP block - 3 and 4 detonated to the point of melting the piston. However when we flow tested the injectors they all came back totally within spec, and of each other, with a dry sump. Unfort you can't tune per cyl with the OEM ecu. The only way to catch that next time is EGT's on all 4 banks and aftermarket ECU capable of cutting fuel/stopping/alerting etc before it causes damage.

injectors flowed fine. leading suspect right now is the vacuum hose for the fuel pressure regulator. i'm not totally sure based on the video of it running beforehand, seemed fine with no lean or knock.
any other thoughts coming to mind?

i'm not considering going aftermartket ecu. i'm not a tuner, i dont know what the tuner did.
i used to data log when i did email tuning, but i dont do that anymore, i can't hook up my laptop to the car when i'm on the road course?

Here is my advice if you continue to track your car. Know how it's running. Never assume. Doesn't mean you have to become a tuner, but it will be more rewarding and confidence-inspiring if you have more of a sense of how your car is running health-wise and you could see something that could hurt you in the long run.
car is put back together. i guess we are bypassing the solenoid with the broken vacuum port, and i'm supposed to break in the motor and then do some data logging. he believes that is what caused it
If the regulator lost boost reference, that would definitely cause a lean condition. I hadn't really thought about that solenoid much. I think I'll be adding a new one to my next parts order.
Do you know if you are running a Tephramod rom? If so are you set up for boost cut / CEL Flash on Wideband AFR out of range?

yes, running tephramod, with boost cut/timing and cel flash for knock. i think we did knock instead of afr out of range because i've got an afr gauge but it's also hard to look at while racing
