They've got 8" wheels and they're about an inch thick, I'm not worried about them getting stuck on anything. Rode it around a gravel patch in my backyard and had no serious issues, and no tracks have concrete, except Sebring. Also, I'm not getting any younger, any exercise is good exercise
If they weren't so expensive, I'd be all about an electric unicycle. Those things look like a ton of fun. I've never seen one in the wild, I think they are more popular over seas.
Onewheel? thats too nerdy for me. Also need something foldable and easy to carry

Some people ask me why i deprive me and my kids the exercise we'll get from pedalling. I know I cant explain it but IMO it's so worth it to enjoy the breeze and be able to chat (on the radio), not to mention zipping passed the Ironman types out there especially going uphill :P
you can get one of these for free (kids everywhere out grew them or burnt theirs already). upgrade to gearless hub motor. this is previously my mailbox cruiser. 24v only (lame), twist throttle (lame), no suspension (lame) and rear drum brakes (lame), not 3-speed (lame), not foldable (lame). color is cool though

I get plenty of exercise at the gym. I want to cruise around the track, not work at it.

exactly. thats like working the course then taking your runs after. I've had leg cramps ruin my day, had to press the clutch by the arch of my foot
anyway, to each his own. I do see a lot of 'athletic' types get replacement joints (or airlifted), I want to be mostly OG parts when I die. I bench pressed 200lbs back in the day, now my shoulders are very weak. That tells me these things shouldnt be abused

We're not extreme scootering or anything. It's just a few pushes.
