danny try a hiway egg roll against raab.....that way it will elimate launching and driver error and guys...i had the pleasure of doing a roll against danny's hta35r...and let me tell u...that thing is a beast......

 

Trapping 110 is no beast...sorry Dan...but you know that as well. A 35R is capable of much higher traps regardless of the launch...

Highway roll tomorrow for sure, I stopped down at the fun center today but you weren't there....

Hey i only traped 110 the first two times. I was at 118 and 119 last night too. And I got the video to prove it.

 

well guys. i finally tracked down the source of my annoying rattle. part of it was the heat shield around the cat area on the exhaust, but mostly it was this:



when i originally put the exhaust together, i didn't have a freeze plug for the whole in the resonator pipe. so i went to autozone and got the closest size i could find, and sealed it with RTV sealant.

well low and behold, it worked itself loose over time, and rattling around like a motherf*cker everytime i turned the car. luckily i found an extra plug in the correct size in my tool box, and now the car is back to being quite.

well, relatively quite.

Which puts you right on par with my car that night. Don't worry about working the initial bugs out, when it gets working 100% it'll be sick for sure

+1 on this. If you trapped 119 that makes more sense for sure. If you are trapping that mph it will go 11's as soon as you drive it there. If you are worried about breaking the car dont race .

Get it on the line and be very ****ing agressive , It will go 11's

If 113 mph is all its got , well then your screwed

I don't agree with you at all, at least with the way you stated that. We all worry. I know I work hard for what I have, and I try my best to make ends meet... breaking something at the track because I wanted to get a slip of paper isn't something I can say that I don't worry about. Thats why I have the car I have. If its a race car, then i agree..... but not a street car. Why trash a car if you can avoid it?
