the fuel pump relay thing is the new fad and now i guess the fix for everything (sarcasm). i swapped mine on friday with the highbeam one and they both worked fine. also people that are noticing that there are variations in how boost is controled and responds to mods. but that is a whole other issue.

it seems that there is a big batch of X's that have several common issues and serveral that don't. weird. i would go as far to say that is may be the early X's that are more problem-free than others but that is just my assumption.

Do you have any clue where to even start looking?

sorry i lost part of my point. your issue is mod related but i can't remember the fix for it.

also scan for codes because i think there is a code that goes with it.

if i am not busy at work tomorrow i will look through some threads to see if i can find it. there are several threads in the tuning section with it. the title doesn't always describe it though.

sorry if i am not much help tonight but i am sure the fuel pump relay isn't it!

that was just a random search. your best bet is that someone more knowledgeable posts in your thread. sorry for the lack of help. it just sounded familiar. it should get worked out.

nope never thought i could.

i saw one of my old patients on the subway last week. he nearly died like 3 times while in the hospital. he was like "where do i know you from?" i told him "starbucks." he is a total junkie, writing on a pad of paper while on a ventilator and tracheostomy "i need my methodone."

btw my exhaust seems much quieter after several heat cycles....interesting......

i need to stop posting and get a life.

Doug what happened to you @ the autox?

yesterday was a let down of sorts. I was all excited to run my buddies s2k, first run I spun it around two times but still managed to stay on course

second run I dialed it back a little and it felt good, but as I was powering out of one of the elements on the way back we heard a 'clunk' and I knew right away the diff was gone.

Ben, I didn't get to talk to you much after the heat started, how did you like the new setup?

I have them in my rears. Same exact rotor as the Stoptechs. I've seen tons of ppl with them and no problems.

Nick, its about time to trade that thing in for a 8/9! lol. j/k, glad you figured it out.

I was just going to ask how everyone did yesterday?

Nice to hear you broke your buddies S2slow, way to go Marc... That sucks man. You need to let him thrash the Vette now to make up for it.

What happened Doug? You were a no show or something?

Ben, did you win the class or what, did you stick it to that Roland guy with the yellow Evo?

Jeff, how was Pocono? Did you have a good time or what?

I'm jealous of all you bastards, you had great weather for it...

That was me all day . By far the most fun I have ever had with my car. Well over an hour of seat time, shade, no work assignments, and tons of friendly helpful people.

Oh and real fast.........like 7mpg fast

Chip was there snapping pics but I didn't take any. weird thing was there were only two evo's running in third heat, usually there are 6-8.

It felt great, but it will take some getting used to. I didn't manage to put a clean run together. Each run I did some good and bad things.

I was the second fastest Evo in BSP Just don't check the entrant list, it won't sound like such an accomplishment after that...
