He was doing some retuning in Chu's Moms car. From what I understand he had no idea what he was doing and he blew a rod through the block, scared himself and rolled it destroying the car. Jim is furious but happy that Chu is dead as a result. I guess it's some satisfaction for losing his car.
It's sad but there's more important things to worry about like me. I got some quotes and it looks like it is feasible to repair the 4G64 if I can sell the IX block quickly. The damage is minor at worst so the crank is salvagable. DARE automotive will polish and rebalance everything for a descent price or I can pick up a Manley crank and have that balanced. Anyone need a good IX block?

He may want my drop in Eagle rods and JE pistons. I'd recommend new rings but otherwise they're in great condition, weight matched and ready to go. If I can't sell the block asap I'm putting it in with that setup.
Carson, I'm like $2000 into this build. If I can salvage the 64 I'd be stupid not to. Initially I was in a huge rush to get a running motor in the car this week. Since I got stuck doing so much side work, I have no time to fix my car so I have more options. I like the 63 but that torque coupled with a 600-700 HP turbo setup will make for a much more enjoyable ride. I'm a size queen.
