Well, they atleast owe you a VERY sincere apology or some credit. Maybe the guy on the phone misunderstood. I always have to end up working the phone at the shop whenever I stop by and its very tedious work. I always make sure to clarify that prices may or may not change depending on what we run into.
I'm positive that I recall signing up for the membership and almost immediately going to motorsportreg w/my membership number and getting into an event. the whole reason I joined was so I could make a specific event. atleast thats how I recall it happening. maybe they did change it, but if you are waiting for the membership # to register for something I'm pretty sure you can still reg and just supply the number later. They have a pay now or pay later option, just do the latter.

Speaking of RT I need to make my appointment too. I remember one time I made a post on tristate asking if any other placed did alignments besides RT because I wanted to try another place and vince called me and asked if everything was ok. Sometimes their customer service is awesome, sometimes it isn't. But they do have to deal with a lot of stupid stuff everyday so I can understand when they are slow to respond and get work done.

Good discounts for SCCA members.
she has so many videos that make myblood pressure boil and make me want to kill someone.
when I did mine initially it was thru their website and I got a membership number quickly via email. I want to say it was like in less than an hour... not sure how long it takes for the snail mail. good move on the 3-year, thats commitment right there
I need to renew mine before the end of the month.
BTW, signed up for a couple more PCA events:
4/21 - 4/22 @ Thunderbolt (Thursday & good Friday)
5/16 - 5/17 @ Lightning one day and Thunderbolt the following (Monday - Tuesday)

Also, I don't really get why you guys think their prices for an alignment are so high? You have special suspension on your car, its gonna cost more... I paid $125 (I think) the other week, I don't think thats bad at all.. Last year I think I paid Bimmerworks $145, and I've known Steve for almost 10yrs now.
I know another guy doing that same event.
You guys better make an appointment asap, they're booked a couple weeks out.

I think its wrong to charge someone more if they have springs IF it doesnt require anymore work than a stock suspension car. I know most alignment racks and how they go. Most tire places just do toe-n-go and set the customer off. In some cases will having just springs make setting a suspension more difficult. Caster sweep, toe sweep, then camber sweep for 125 bucksisnt bad at all. James is ragging on the fact that they charged a different price that they had previously agreed upon
I understand Jame's beef (you like that Dan), maybe they misunderstood what he was asking about when he talked to them.. IDK. I've been in that spot before and I agree, it doesn't feel very nice.
