Got signed off for NASA TT so will get classed for TTS and will run Mid-Ohio in July-we'll see how the Evo does against the Vette's in TTS.
Let me know when that is. If it's on a weekend, I'd like to make the trip over and watch.

It was nice to meet you herevo8. Sorry I had to rush off for my run and then I had a few friends show up so I never got a chance to stop back over... Car looked good!

Overall I was pretty pleased. My best run was an 11.97@115. I know the car has more in it, but not bad for me as I am learning to tune. Its a pretty conservative tune and I am pretty sure my BOV is limiting boost, time to crush it. Sidenote: thanks to Trav for all the guidance and pointers on tuning your help is definitely appreciated

I am also planning to head up again next Thursday if anyone is interested.
Glad I could help u out - looks like your making some excellent progress on the tune

Funny thing is that I had Brian design the Flyers logo to take up the rear door and quarter panel, and he also did a really cool goalie for the back of the trunk...brought it over to FastSigns in Wexford and they wanted almost $900 to print the vinyl and install it WTF???

Looking for some alternatives, but may wait until I get some used rear doors and repaint them before the install....

Brians skills are second to none. He's got the talent to do just about anything you can come up with. Good choice in going with him to do your design.

yeah, that seems expensive. Then again, I'm not sure how long you'd be allowed to have that on before the NHL finds out.

We hope to get around that with the fact that Brian did a "partial" logo....hopefully the NHL police won't be attending any track events

Cool....thanks! Even tho the logo is bigger that 24", he might have a good contact/recommendation for a shop that can print it.

Pagoda hillclimb

Looks like the pgh EVO's all did well racing this weeken! Glad to see the car getting sorted out well Patrick.

I attended my first hillclimb of the season and showed that the EVO is not a one hit wonder. I scored my 2nd king of the hill title and moved my way up the history books. It turned out to be a weekend that worked well for me. I set a time on my 3rd run Sat that held up all weekend. It wasn't for a lack of trying from my fellow hillclimbers but, I had the power of AWD that just couldn't be matched off the uphill start. I did better my time today and hit my goal for the weekend so all went well. The top guys are talking of building a 700lb, 400 hp, AWD hillclimb creation to set the record at pikes peak. Getting beat by a street car has made them all EVO fans.

Pagoda hillclimb is in reading PA, It's part of the PA hillclimb association series. I get to battle it out against DSR's, GT1 cars, formula's, and custom built hillclimb specials. It is a blast! If you ever want to race, Steelcity region SCCA puts on one of the events just outside Cumberland Maryland the second week in august if your interested in racing. The season schedule is on the PHA website.
