Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
I have a question!!
I currently have a paid off Evo 8 (as some of you may know
) I sold my TSI which was my beater. So I am using my 8 as a DD now. I was considering getting a used car for a beater through a dealership and creating another payment each month. Then the more I thought about it, I was thinking of using my 8 as my DD and then come spring, getting a 10. My 8 has like 95k miles on it and needs a paint job otherwise it's in great shape. If i'm going to make another car payment for myself each month, shouldn't it be for a newer car rather then an older car with a decent amount of miles? What do you guys think?
& also, saw a red evo in cranberry going towards walmart at like 10pm lastnight.. anyone on here?

Unless you have a real need for speed and don't care about high maintenance, I wouldn't go for another Evo. But that's just IMO
Get a truck to haul your Evo to the track!
Payments suck but let's face it, the Evo isn't the most comfy ride. There's something to be said for a plush DD.

Since I work from Home, I'd love to pick up a used truck and trailer to haul my car around.

My evo is very comfy to DD. it's basically all stock except clutch (exedy single), bov, intake, mbc, and exterior stuff.
i have a need for speed, I am addicted
I just HATE to get a $6-$10k used car then have it **** the bed 2 or 3 years down the road. I'd like to get a new or newer vehicle and know I have a warranty and it'll last me 10+ years. I was looking at an EVO because who wouldnt want 2 evos in their garage .. but am also looking at the new STI's or even just an impreza, I dont need anything turbo'd.. just prefer it
The good thing with buying new is the interest rates. You if you get a 0% loan it's a free loan, and that you don't get very often. A used car loan is usually on the high side % wise IMO.
I personally don't think the 10's are worth what they ask for them. I like BMW's if I wanted a nice daily driver myself.
