hahah its fine if i was taking the picture i would probably photo crop half of my car out if thats what it took to get it out of the pic but yea i think a huge sti and evo meet would be sick and then we could all drive some where or something all together imagen a big cluster of evo's and sti's just cruising around pittsburgh. i think that would be sick..

Let's all mark 10-17 down to go out to the North Park AutoX. I'll admit to not going as much as I'd like but we should all try and go out to have at it against Paul and Jeremy's course design skills.

Put me down for the next one. I'll have some more parts on the car by then....at least an exhaust so that you can hear me coming over the bridge

My Tune

Updated Log

One of the biggest problems I see is that boost "should" be peaking at 26.5 around 4200rpms but is actually hitting 24.2 at 6700rpms.
Yeah for whatever reason your taking forever to hit full boost......i assume that is a 3rd gear / 3000 rpm start shifting to 4th gear?

If I assume correct your hitting peak load at 6800 rpms in 3rd gear, that alone is making the car feel very sluggish for you.....def. something not right there, I would say the cheapest and easiest solution is a proper boost leak test - then go from there.

Tune wise there is nothing there that would cause the issue I see in the logs....

After much running around today I was able to pick up my parts for a boost leak tester. There appears to be a major leak at the coupler on the outlet of the FMIC. That would explain the ****ty car feeling.

It's in such an odd place where nothing could have hit it. Must have had a problem before and only got worse.

Mike to the rescue. Had an extra coupler on hand. Was able to get it installed. No more audible hissing. Just need to get the bumper back on and do some road testing tomorrow.

Just really weird since the hole was actually a 1/4"-3/8" slice in the coupler which is pretty damn thick. Had a hard time cutting it off in the first place.

Hello everyone,

New to this site and New to the Evo world, I've had wrx's before this but i couldnt bring myself to buy a new one cause hated the hatchback look of the new ones so I took the Plunge to the X last yr after I got out of College, and havent looked back since. Between working offshore on the Oil Rigs and living bout 40 minutes from pittsburgh, I haven't had much time or have seen any other Evo's in the Pittsburgh Area. Mines a 2008 Graphite Grey Evo X, can't post a pic now cause im currently offshore. Take care and peace out.
