All installed. I'll reserve judgement on how I feel until after the alignment. Almost feels a little slower to react.

It should feel slower. The same steering input results in less steering change in the axis perpendicular to the ground. Once turned, it should feel like it wants to stay there.

That seems to be what I'm feeling. Car feels more stable as I turn.

So, tires next and probably rear bump-steer kit and re-pack my ball joints on that arm.

Not where I want her, but much happier now.

Hopefully picking up some tires tonight and a test pipe next week.

So, I think I've decided on the Potenza RE760 Sports. Hoping to get those on by this weekend.

Also, drove my friend's 2010 WRX tonight. Turboback, intake, tune. Nice, but I think I could probably take him as-is. Pretty fun to drive, though. I've grown fond of hatches.

I went back and forth between a few tires today and ended up on the Potenzas. I think they'll be a good daily tire. Hoping to get them on and get back to a little more tuning. Should be here Thursday or Friday.

Ordered a test pipe, too. Yay!

Tires are on and car is aligned. It feels really nice to have new rubber again. So much road noise with old tires. 3/4 had just started cording.

I'm happy with my decision on the Bridgestones so far. They look really good and it's nice to have some grippy tires again.

Test pipe should deliver Monday. I went with the Megan resonated. Trying to keep her nice and quiet. I'm sure the downpipe will wake up the volume, but I'm doing what I can. I don't need the attention in the small towns where I live and work.

Updates soon!

Thanks for the kind words! Still needs a lot of work, but I'm getting there.

Got this via UPS today:

Rebuilding my VIII-2c1ijre.jpg

I never wanted to put a Megan product on my car, but I wanted a resonated pipe and didn't want to pay STM prices. I'm really happy with the quality of the piece and that it came with hardware. If it sounds good and holds up, I'll have no complaints! Hoping to get it on tonight. I'll turn down my boost a bit and do a few logs to see how I'm doing.

Those gaskets probably won't last too long. I love the remflex ones on every car ive tried them! Rallysport has them.

Looking forward to tuning updates.

Thanks for the tip. I also have an HKS gasket that came with my catback.

I'm guessing turn down the boost and watch my A/F?

Done and done. All installed. I'll probably pull it and install it again, as I realized it's in backwards. The O2 bung is in a bad place. Doesn't matter now, as my wideband is in my downpipe, but it'll bother me.

Idle is a tad louder. I just whipped her around the block real quick and then had to come in. A quick pull showed 11.9 at WOT. Gotta add some fuel.
