I have Boomba as well for several years. No issues. Definitely a metal ball.

So the flow rate through the checkvalve when under vacuum is not a concern? I thought it had to be a controlled flow to prevent idle issues?

The X has a large check valve stock.

That will work although without an OEM PCV valve in the line to the manifold, you might have high idle issues.

He won't. The X has a MUCH larger PCV valve than the 8/9.

Have no plans on using the OEM PCV. It's highly restrictive, the opening is ridiculously small.

It's way bigger than the 8/9...lol

But with the check valve in the line to intake pipe, you're idle will be fine.

So I'm currently looking at a Mighty Mouse catch can which already has check valves incorporated in the top and side so seems to be the ticket!

Although not sure if I want to run a couple feet of pressurized hose from the intake manifold all the way to the can. I think I would rather have the check valve as close to the intake manifold as possible.

Been speaking with the owner and he has been very helpful.

So I received the new check valve so I could see what the internal valve looked like before my other one got destroyed.

All I have to say is FFFFFFFffffffffuuuu this check valve. 100psi capable? Give me a break. no ball.

This.Rubber.Flap is the check valve. I can easily bend it with my fingers, and now it's in in my motor somewhere...

Nope. Nope. Nope.

If its a small enough hole, then even a piece of rubber can handle 100 psi.

Theory is awesome, however in reality it didn't even hold 26psi on my car.

I hope that you find the piece of rubber.
