After five track days with the new build I did a compression check this week to check in.
Basically 170psi across. This is about 5psi up from last August so that makes me happy. I've had the car back for about 10 months now and the engine has approx 4,000 miles on it.

It's also $90 for digital download of the day.

Installed these today. These better work, they cost as much as a small used car.
Track day on Tuesday, doing the full five mile track at Thunderhill for the first time, and forecast is 101F peak for the day... yay...

Did the full 5 mile track at Thunderhill today. First time doing it. I've been doing the 3 mile track for almost fifteen years now so combining both was fun but odd as I know one half like the back of my hand and know nothing about the other half until today.
Here is some fun footage of the second session where I start chasing a new 991.2 GT3 (damn things are fast as hell!), going two wheels off which doesn't look dramatic at all in the video but it was enough to destroy my lip and put a big *** dent in my intercooler. I had no idea I destroyed the lip until after the session which is why I kept going after the two wheels off.
The brakes rocked. It was 95-98F and the brakes never quit.
more later...
