They're almost as black as mine

Is it a heat issue, or do you also feel like there isn't enough stopping power? I'm just trying to gauge what my car is going to need when it's done because it will also very likely be around 500whp on a track tune.

Is there any paint that you guys have used that can deal with these heat levels or do you have to powder coat? I'm about to pull my brembos for some needed love.

i guess if you want to do it like brembo you need to do a 3 stage paint job, epoxy primer->urethane base->acrylic clear coat, all of which im assuming need to be rated at high braking temps.

http://www.brembo.com/en/company/new...alipers-brembo ...just you know.. ignore their point about not doing it lol

Yea heat for sure. I have enough braking power to overwhelm the NT01's if I'm not careful, when the brakes aren't over heated.

The ST47's in front are by far my favorite pad I've used so far, and they last forever.

Found the loss of power event in the logs! Same exact weird thing that happened to me on the street a couple weeks back, everything goes all zig zaggy and the car falls on it's face and feels like crap. What the hell is going on here?

Note APP is still WOT (because I was), while TPS and others are doing the zig zags.

I'll usually start chasing down electrical gremlins by inspecting the chassis grounds, and the harness in general. Maybe something is loose or corroded, ground looping can cause all kinds of havoc.

So I ordered a set of Centric caliper seals and dust boots. One package has four dust boots and four seals and the other package has four dust boots and two seals.. wtf? Just my luck. Awesome quality control there.

Did you check to see if they are stuck together. I literally just got the same thing delivered today from rock auto and it looked like there where only 3 seals but one was just stuck inside of another and they looked like one.

I opened them tonight when I got home and the one pack I thought was missing two seals is just missing one, so only three in total overall and missing one. Also one pack has grey dust boots and one has black dust boots. Again, not sure how I feel about this quality control...

Yah that sounds sketchy. Hopefully its not reflective of the quality of the parts. Drop Centric an email, hopefully their customer service is better then QC. I recommend Centric to a lot of people, it would be good to know how they stand by their products.

For $8, whatever. My time is worth WAY more than that, in fact I kind of feel silly complaining about it in the first place but I was bored.

I just ordered another set from another vendor on Ebay.
