They generally require topping up after the first 1 or 2 heat cycles because they do get air pockets. Especially if the car still has a heater.

right, just meant that whatever supplementary stuff they need to do, it is all included in the 2700. whether the frame is off 5mm or 20mm, it's included, so this is the max quote in other words. i think that is pretty darn reasonable, and most of my expenses are from the parts honestly. going to redo the jdm headlights, rear bumper, and the rest of the body is good. i dont think they'll need to oil change or anything, i dont think the engine comes out.

wrt to the axle probably being busted, exams are over sat and i'll be home sunday to drive & inspect hopefully. i'll try to take a video of the noise if possible.

thanks all for the continued input. i'm just hoping it can get back to 100% here structurally.

Sounds like uve found a really good body shop there!

Axles are nice and cheap theres heaps on ebay. if u think a wheel took a good punch id consider changing out the through shafts on the transfer case also as they are prone to breaking and not much to replace. might be worth sending the front struts away to get inspected too make sure they arent bent

got the hood open - the latch is acting finicky but as you guys suggested I pushed down on the hood and pulled the latch to the side and was able to get it. Putting it back is a different question.

More pics below - thoughts?

some tire delamination from the passenger's rear (the side the let go in the counter clockwise spin)

the strut tower areas always have this bend in them?

Strut towers do have that bend normally. It looks like you're actually semi lucky. Damage does not look that extensive. I would suggest doing the measurements someone else posted before and see how far off it is.

Looks like the body panels took most of the damage. I would say you got very lucky. Like previously said. Take the measurements, you might be able to get the quote lowered.

You might even be able to straighten out the radiator support with a couple good yanks.if it’s even bent can’t really tell. Also from the pictures none of the seam sealer is lifted or cracked which would be a bad sign

That tire isn't delmanated. It just has severe toe wear and it picked up a ton of tire goo from the track.

As others have said already, it looks like you dodged a bullet. Everything body/frame related looks fine from those photos at least.

it definitely looks like OPR, especially in pics, but it kind of lifts off. I've had a lot of experience with OPR, this def looks like delamination. None of the other tires have this much OPR.

**more importantly - i DO have a broken seam - this is the driver's side tire fender wall. makes sense, this is the side that took the brunt of the force. thoughts on this? a sure sign that something is off/compressed i assume.
