Chris - if one already has an EF4, could arrangements be made to directly purchase the new TS actuator from your stock? My order has been floating for 2 weeks and the last I was told is that they are on back order.

Thread cleaned up a little so we can stay a little more on-topic.

Side note, one guy is apparently having an issue with boost creep:

Has anyone gotten any numbers for the EF1? Interested in a mild track day car setup that might be a little perkier than the regular IX turbo.

EF1 will net you more power than an EVO IX turbo (not a ton) but you will have a much longer power curve than the EVO IX turbo could over supply. For a mild track day car (~400whp) the EF1 would be a great choice.

400 whp sounds like a lot to me, but our local mustang dyno reads tuned stock turbo IXs at around 320-330whp at most. So I guess for comparison's sake about how much whp gains could one expect with a EF1 on 93? And less top end taper? Thanks!

~400whp means around 400whp. So anything 380-420 is what I would say. I can't say how much you would gain as I don't know what mods those 320-330whp EVO IX turbo cars you mentioned have.

Adam was probably thinking dynojet numbers as well, and was most certainly thinking E85. Mustang numbers on 93 octane I would expect ~10% gain from the EF1 with very similar spool.

Chris, thanks for responding... that sounds very enticing. Have you guys done any dynos on one yet? I looked around, but couldn't seem to dig any up.

e85 is always on my brain, but with supporting mods the EF1 will make ~375ish on pump.
