I got the unit from SYGAV through amazon and has been very helpful trying to diagnose the problem.
as for the OBDII, I'm using ELM327 v. 2.1 unit through bluetooth.
the unit detects the OBD sensor, but not connecting to it.
Or, it connects to it, but Torque Pro does not detect it.
I've heard v. 2.0 works more consistently... is there any truth to that?
I haven't really had much time to play around with it as much. maybe there's some small trick I need to get used to to get it working.

I ordered it through amazon prime and it arrived in about 3 days. My system has RF, so I purchased the RF version (comes with CANBUS). Didn't need MITO-02

Delete any other Bluetooth, the. Just pair the odb. Go to torque and select the only id available. If your unable to see it use the torque from the oem folder.
The firmware has been updated and everything is working as it should.

That one more than linkely for anything related to MTCD.
and this one for updates etc.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcd-discussion-questions-development/comprehensive-updated-mcu-list-mtcd-t3476880
However keep in mind that our units are Hot Audio, MTCD_HA and there are some other people here that use MTCB units.
So it depends on the initial firmware, i suggest staying away from custom roms unless you really know what your doing.
I did change the following apps:
Radio
Music
Video
Bluetooth
and added
MTCDTools
Viper4Android
Utter
Utter Quick Launch
Super Su,
etc
and removed some other useless apps to speed up boot.
but i know what I'm doing and understand how to work with this very unsecure software LOL.
