Does anybody else have static only on bluetooth audio streaming? Radio and such seems to be crystal clear.

Do you mind taking a picture of the reverse cam video feed?
Maybe I need to change my camera to something better...

I'm slightly OCD when it comes to things like this for no reason lol.
Plus, I'm use to looking at MB C63 screen with super high def screen and my camera quality looks like a potato.

Has anyone found that these units draw a lot more power than normal? My battery keeps dying now.. a couple of months after installing the unit. Not sure if it's just a coincidence (battery would be a few years old now) or something to do with the unit. Therefore wondering if it's worth getting a higher performance battery while I'm at it. Running standard speakers etc (non-RF).

I just installed mine 2 days ago. 2010 with rf unit. Mine also came with pajero canbus on it. I haven't installed any apps yet and don't have any sound issues. All speakers work and it sounds better and the sub hits more constantly now. Before it would fade after a couple of bass hits. Also on Bluetooth streaming I notice a bit of static but not too noticeable. Could be possibly the ground wire. I did extend the wire and connect it to the bolt behind radio

Check. Your battery , i have been inside the car for at least one hour without the engine on and the battery is all good. Also there is a xda post somewhere of someone that added a battery to keep the unit in hibernation for at least 4 hours go figure maybe a good option to add one to the unit but i dont feel like doing something like that.

I have the same issue. Havent really figured it out. Everytime it acts up I just move my phone closer to the unit and it goes away. /shrug.

If you suspect that its your radio thats killing your battery, then it means that there should be a draw when you car is off. Take a multimeter and test.

Yeah cheers I've just done that and it seems to be fine only drawing 10 milliamps when car is off. Guess it's just time for a new battery

Ah, that must be the issue. Mine is a 2014 and I think they changed something in 2014.

Thank you very much NinjaX for all your help you have given us on this 20014-2015 Android Radio

I ordered from the vendor you recommended and it arrived in under a week.

I used the new firmware patch you posted and everything is working great

Great sound, the sub is working, the radio sounds nice and the navigation is amazing.

Thanks again.

Yes.

It will work fine in the 15 EVO. You just need to make sure you get the model specified for vehicles with the rockford fosgate (RF) system.

So far its pretty dope. No complaints other than not being able to receive text messages on headunit. Im sure there is an app for that but I havent began to look.
