+3 deg of advance over 0 to 100 load and 1500 - 4000 rpm definitely improved power at loads of ≤ 100 without any knock. I've now added another 2 deg at loads from 60-100. Still no knock but not sure yet if there is any more power. At these load loads, don't know yet if E85 is knock proof and can go right past MBT, or whether I still have yet to reach MBT.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I would post up my timing table, but I don't want to taint the discussion.

I am running more than you but am experiencing some intermittent knock...

Post up your table. I'm curious to see. What does the knock sum look like? Sharp spike or low level 2-3 knock sum?

I've logged 42* at cruise with no knock, however I am also on 100.

Soon to be dabbling in E85 though...

I'd like to see a 93octane map. I'll post mine in a few hrs with +3 on 93.

I'm back to pump gas for a few days. Decided to try tuning my ignition map while on pump gas. Getting good results with the same map that I used for E85. Knock free except a very occasional knock sum of 2 for a few entries when accelerating through a load of 70-80. Responsiveness and power are much better. I can stay in vacuum for cruising 95% of the time, whereas before I would often have to go slightly into boost to get acceptable acceleration. Torque at low rpms is much better too. I can lug around at 1800-2200 rpm very easily now. I may try pushing up the timing even further in selected areas.

Would definitely be interested in seeing other people's pump gas timing maps.

I thought that peeps were advancing the timing in the idle area to compensate for a loopy idle... Apparantly not...

Nope. Been using 14* for two years now.
