re: the 3037s vs the 3076, seems like Forced Performance is saying they're the same thing.

practically identical.. the 3076 is slightly smaller.. ams uses it on their medium size kit.

The 3037 is a HKS name for a GT30R they offered. The confusing part of this is the fact they had 5 different variations of it. The only parts that were different were on the compressor side. The overall compressor wheel size stayed the same 76mm (As Garrett would call a GT3076), but the inducer diameter ranged from 53-57mm for the 5 different models. The GT3076 that FP and ATP offer, has the 55mm inducer which makes it exactly like one of the variations of the 3037. There is only one 3037 that is bigger (not really bigger, just a bigger inducer and trim) and that is the one w/ the 57mm inducer (56 trim). I assume the 3037 Vishnu offers is either the GT3076 that ATP or FP offers w/ the 52 trim compressor or the 56 trim spec'd version.

What type of WHP do you expect with the GT30 on pump and race gas?

Yesterday, on our DD Dyno, David@vishnu's Stg 2 with 3071 and 264/272s made just over 330whp on 91oct in really bad conditions (hot, contaminated, end-of-the-day air). With clean air, it could have made 340whp easily. Maybe another 15whp with 280s. Good spool-up and great power. Didn't do a race gas map though....

I'm not sure if the 30R would make much more power on pump gas. On race gas, expect around 390-410whp.

Cheers,
shiv

How would that power translate to a Mustang dyno? Oh and how much more power on 93 oct in normal conditions?

just called you guys and put my name on the list for this turbo...seems like a good power increase and still able to auto-x with it
I wonder what impact that intake had on the power band of the motor? Any thoughts, I would think it would raise it?
Good work Vishnu clan!

Yeah, David got the second prototype. He deserved it since he's been pushing this project.

I guess we can surmise that since both prototypes are in use now, the production units are well into the manufacturing process.

Shiv- i was wondering if you think the 3071r would have the ability to produce more power than say a bolt on turbo upgrade (i know one doesn't exist right now-so this is hypothetically) of say a turbo like Superzila with a 49 lb comp. (or the fp green)? I was just wondering this today as...I don't know the comp. wheel size of the 3071r you have been testing. Either on pump or race gas.

Any thoughts on this?

Wow, the answer to that really depends on if you're looking at pump gas or race gas. For example, if you're going to stay on pump gas, then going much past a 3071 will not really net you much at all, whereas racegas is a whole different ballgame.
