dont buy the cams and waste your money... Wait and see (let other people test it first)... I am sure it will be good but the 3071 is a tricky turbo. This kit above looks sweet
the adapter looks very smoothEvolved Member

Yup, just that little thing under the exhaust manifold. Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you just about run any turbo that fits the stock turbo profile? 3076, 30R, 3037S, BR9000x, 35R, 10.5's, 3071..........Originally Posted by Az3ar

Just think of the possibilities. You could swap a turbo out in 3 or 4 hours. Test and re-test.
How many whp do really you think the cams would add to this set-up? How much earlier the spool?

Mmmmmmmmm 3037S for me. Will the DP and IC piping fit stock and stock replacement fitted aftermarket exhausts and IC piping?

I think it fits the Vishnu signature dp, but the stock Evo exhaust system will work on this too with the stock o2 housing if you want it to.
It puts the turbo in the stock exhaust position, so concievably you can run anyone's system if it bolts up to a stock turbo.
I guess stock IC piping fits as well as aftermarket systems in that stock location.

ok was just wondering. I have UR test pipe and stuff. I really like it, just dont want to give my exhaust setup that I already have up.

That setup will not work with the stock O2 housing. It looks like they are going to use a custom downpipe too.Originally Posted by Jaylenospoolboy

That's a tial external wastegate in the pictures if I'm not mistaken.Originally Posted by gsujeff55

Unless you know something I don't, I'm almost positive that is the Vishnu Signature DP, meaning you get rid of the stock o2 housing and go turboback.Originally Posted by jj_008

The Vishnu Standard DP bolts up to the stock o2 housing and should work with any of the GT turbos from the way it looks to me, but I'm not a mechanic or engineer, so I'll let someone else confirm this.
You can see both DP's on their web site.
The beauty of the collar is it puts the various turbos in the stock position. It's Eli Whitneyish.

My statement was based off the pictures, which show a downpipe coming right off the turbo itself. It would be very easy to make a O2 housing that would end in a flange connection. That way any flanged downpipe would work (Buschur, Ultimate racing, RnR, Vishnu, etc).Originally Posted by Jaylenospoolboy

dang, i didn't even see the pics, LOL.
yeah, i don't see how you can run anything but a custom downpipe for that setup if its externally gated.

I dont care if I keep my DP or not. My question is, will the custom DP bolt up to the rest of a stock replacement system. Ex: UR test pipe, etc. I know that some of the vishnu exhausts used V band clamps, therefore limiting the DP to mate with only Vishnu cat/catback.

oh, yeah, idk.
they def need to make sure to flange some to work with other test pipes and catbacks.
