well if i were you guys that got a dyno from them i would ask for some free pulls with the correct weight. theres a place on 3900 so that has a full scale. they weighed my car for about 10 bux. otherwise when you go back to see what your mods did they'll always have to dial in your weight at 3100 and you'll always get an inaccurate reading.

so did someone sit in the car during the dyno?

okay if thats the case then don't they have to calculate the person sitting in it? or do they input that on another screen? i would think the dyno graph i just posted is showing 3500 lbs with the persons weight sitting in it calculated into the final number. if that indeed is the case then modern thinks the evos weigh under 3k?

Yes Ray, yes, I would assume that is the case. It still doesnt matter, as long as they set it the same, you can see if you gained or lost power.

My dyno sheet says 3050..WTF? I don't really care though. I would like to see the difference if I were to dyno with it at 3300

You're an MR, so they assumed you weighed less...

i know what youre sayn but it's still not accurate. you obviously will be doing more dynos but since your "base" dial-in is wrong you forever will have to use that number to compare to. to me that just isn't right cause you'll never know what your car is "actually" putting out. i guess if you don't care its no biggie.

I guess so..but in reality the MR weighs more than the rest of the EVOs (05' anyway) . Next time I go I will see if I can dyno first pull @ 3050 then change it to 3285 + drivers weight. and see what that does.

I don't care, cuz they're ALL off, the only dyno that ever truly is accurate, is drag strip times, and then driver skill comes in to play and ruins everything there... It's improbable that ANY dyno out there is anywhere near perfect, someone's gotta push the gas, afterall, and Humans are full of more errors than my Evo, but yes, you're right, I actually wish it would've just been done on a Dynojet, that's what most people use... too late to care now, my baseline is just sitting there

Mine too, but like Jake said it really is to tell the difference after mods , which it does.

that is pure bull**** that there weighing the cars like that!! my fwd eclipse was stripped out & they dynoed it @ 3200 and i know my evo weighs a ton more than that i would want a retest with the correct weight. i bet the mr dynoes more around 250 with the correct weight. scott what does yours say?????? if i ever do mine i will make sure close to the correct weight is on there.
i would call up to ***** just to get some more pulls in.
but like ray said that's modern for ya.
