They are just the normal ARP studs, I had a friend with a stretch gauge and we checked a set that had been torqued twice to 100 and they were still the same. So ya as i said before best bet is to do between 90 and 100

Quote: I hope you used L19's with that torque setting (they don't stretch) regular ARP head studs stretch. You are supposed to run the stud down hand tight the maybe a quarter turn past, maximum. Then install the washer and lube the nut, run the nut down, and torque to 90ft lbs.

Stretch gauge is best, but I've never had any problems with ARP's recommendations, like you said, everyone has their own way.

Quote: Hey guys. Just got an idea. If any of you want to get tuned, save a little coin and don't care about the dyno sheet, I can also road tune your car for $220. We'll install our own wb02 and get it handled.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, let me know.

Pm me here.
Yo fick, you gonna be up here for the summer? After I get my t belt done and the rest of ma shiz bolted in, I'll need a full on road or dyno tune.

This will be my mod list:

3" TBE (test pipe)
O2 dump
EPM LICP
Green or Tomei
3" FMIC w/Hard Pipes and ETS Intake (I'll need it scaled correctly)
WB02
1000cc's
Walboro 255
Kelford 272's
Supertech Valvetrain (Dual Springs, Ti Retainers, Seats, Bronze Guides, Seals, SS Nitrade Valves Stock Size)
Ported Stocker Intake Mani
Ported Stocker Exhaust Mani
75mm TB w 65mm adapter
3 port (Perrin EBCS - Interrupt mode, no pills)
JDM map (direct boost control - psi based)
2 byte logging (already done)

Brand new pulleys, Kevlar Belts, etc

I think that's it - maybe I'll get an Aquamist kit from Wes...

so i was getting on the freeway today and i decided to open her up on the on ramp since there wasnt anything in front of me. come to my surprise first and second were good then i got towards the top of third and had a nasty fuel cut. same thing in fourth gear.... so is it that i need bigger injectors or is my 255 pump not sufficient enough anymore? also would it matter where my wastegate is located on my manifold? my buddy told me he thinks i might get boost creep because of where it is on the manifold.... i will see if i can post a pic.

It might be that your getting fuel cut because you are hitting the max load cells on your ECU. My car would do that on cold nights with WOT in usually 3rd-4th-5th gears. Had my tune done and problem solved.

You are hitting load cut....raise the load limit in the "Boost Cut Load" table
