Utah Evos
Oh, those are cute
Little 2 seater Formula cars.
Oh, and thanks Ray! I had a blast today thanks for the tips on #10 and helping me with my tires/brakes. I got a little more sunburned than I thought I was getting so I'm a little beat, but hopefully I'll be okay tomorrow. I felt like this by the end of the day: (only without the horns)

Jake was faster than... the Guiver-driven Lotus Exige? I heard Jake was right with the Lotus and somebody else, I forget who, running 1:48, was it?
By the way, Jake, what oil temps were you seeing yesterday? I was peaking at 130C half way through, blasting the heater and short shifting for a lap, then going all out again while holding ~120C. My engine management is detuned from the overly-aggressive factory tune, but that is it for power mods.
Anybody else having problems holding turn #8 at about 80mph? It could very well have been the heat yesterday, but I officially exceeded the holding capacity of the Advan A046 around that corner. I'll probably go back to my Hankook RS2 next time and see if I still have to coast around that corner.

My oil temps, assuming they're like my water temps, never got higher than they do with street driving, and sometimes they dropped a little. I haven't gotten an oil gauge yet though, so I couldn't say for sure.
I wish you had been there Jeremy, it was a great event, I even had fun on Sunday and I didn't drive more than 2 laps. You gonna come out to the August event?

I am really torn about what to do, buy Scotts car that is all done or buy a 9 and install my mods on it. Each choice has its advantages and disadvantages, just trying to weigh them all. I feel like I am rushed (by the insurance co) to make a choice and I am not someone who usually does that.

I think if I took Scotts car to the dealer I might get a big void on the remainder of the warranty.

i'm sure they would tell you to f off for the warranty but it's not like it has ever seen over 5k & 60mph
