If it's really that delayed, I won't mess around... I'll just purchase the GSR and swallow the fact of having to drive a 5spd (which is so primitive and cold)! The TC SST looks and sounds amazing, I just don't see myself waiting that long to get my hands on one! I guess good things come to those that wait, BTW has anyone heard their not offering the GSR in black until they launch the MR?

That's not the only downside....

Slipping the clutch while in a corner isn't possible with SST either. If there isn't a 5 speed RA... i'll have to get an evo .

are you talking about downshifting? (im not familiar with the term "clutch slipping" )that can also be done with paddle shifters, if the evoX has manny than im sure that the RA will have it too.

if its delayed that long ill probably buy something non(which would suck) b/c im looking for a good turbo car that doesnt cost 40k like the evoX and im not the type of person to buy a used evo 8 or 9 and get someones sloppy seconds that they ran into the ground. if takes too long i might cross over to subaru(id rather not)

i really like and want to buy the new RA but im not a person who waits around.

Yeah maybe the SST is better and outperform the manual in term of performance and have lesser chance to break something etc. ... but in the long run, I rather get slighly less perormance and really have fun. And be able to really boost it later. Because I'm not sure the SST will handle 400hp+

Mazda always did that too -- maybe chrome is big in Japan?

How easy is it to redo one of these parts in black?

I've said it before -- buy an Evolution if you want more horsepower -- I can't imagine why anyone would want to pass up that better turbo and great yaw control if they're planning on really racing in one of these. The Ralliart is geared much more to driving on roads, where you don't need 400hp+ unless you're planning on something seriously illegal, in which case may I recommend stealing an Evo instead of a Ralliart.
