Cobb AP: ?s on product, features, and various maps incl Perrin maps go here [merge]
Cant you just uninstall the AP from the car before you take it in? That's what I plan on doing.
after a stage 1 AP flash on a stock MR, what car can the evo be compared to? will it be able to keep up with a 335xi or 135i in the straights? Mustang GT? from a roll or dig?
conservative (not killing SST) 0-60 for stock MR in sport mode w/ ASC half off (one push) is what? 5.4 seconds? what about after the stage 1 tune?

$700 for carrerra s level acceleration? sounds almost too good to be true! i was expecting 4.9 - 5.1 seconds...
I owned 2000 Carrera, the Evo is much quicker than the base Carrera. I don't know about the S with PDK equipped.

I just bought the Perrin Panel Filter... it should arrive in a couple of days. I gather you didn't have any fitment problems like what others claimed on previous threads? Can't wait, I read from another forum that it added an average of 10whp & 13wtq on 3 dyno pulls over stock air filter.
Car and Driver Evo X test
Just wanted to say that I am running the Stage1 HKS 93oct map and it feels really good. Did some data logging and I had a couple knock counts of .07 & .035 the first couple runs then it seem to be only one or two knocks after that.
It seems to pull easier through the RPM's and breath better - I also have an UICP.

Just Ordered an AP, Any Word on K&N Panel Map yet?
Anyone here used the KN Filter with any existing maps? Results?
Update After Looking on the other EvoX forums, Courtesy of User hollywood_X
"So I took the logs you sent me and went throught them.
(For the rest of you reading this he was using the K&N filter with an HKS map.)
The K&N panel filer is within 1-2% on calibrations all the way down the line and pretty much a perfect match. so I would say your more than good to go on using these on that map."
