Evo 8 boost logging
For you folks with an Evo 8 that bought a sensor: I'm pretty sure that you can log boost without making any mods to the ROM. The car will run, but with a CEL. If you want to give logging a try, in the EvoScan Data.xml file (its just a text file), find the formula:
Eval="1.334x"
To log boost in psig, replace that formula with:
Eval="0.19347*x-14.51"
Then enable logging of MUT 38. (I think its called MDP in EvoScan.) In the meantime, I'm still working on finding the tables that need to be modified in order to stop the CEL.

the logs work!!! I'll send you one in like 15 minutes. On a sad note though I did still throw a cell on my way home from work after the table mods.
Let me know if you need me to try something else with the table mods other than what I did today.

More coolness! Sorry about suggested table mods not stopping the CEL. I'm doing my best to find the right tables, but I'm a newb at disassembly, so it may take a while until I can start really understanding the code.

it works for me perfectly as well, just got done logging it.....i do not have a cel though, but i only drove it for a mile or so.
laakness when does your cel come on, when you are in 5th gear on the highway like its doing a egr check or something?

Yeah, it's usually after like 15 minutes of driving or a day or two after a clearing of the CEL with my laptop.
