cool - i just removed the 3x timing maps code and its become much neater again.

before the code was getting so big I had to have multiple sections all linking together, messy and hard to read - now its back to a manageable size..

so that's a big plus

so I will wait for MrFred to report back his findings and unless there is a compelling reason not too I will continue with my plan

Please please please post an altmap rom for 96940011. I have a nice new Aquamist HFS-5 all installed, but need the map switching to use it

well I will start a new thread once I have some ROM's that people can use.

Unfortunately the integration of alt boostmaps makes a LOT more work for me, because I need to patch code rather than a memory pointer.

So basically for every ROM i need to be very particular/careful about checking the result just incase... basically its quadrupled the time to patch a new ROMID from before

oh well, just be slower at getting them out is all

the order will be:

88580014 (my rom :P)
90550001 (some UK 7 rom's - long ago promise )
94170014
88590015
96940011
etc etc..

To help me I probably won't do 94170008 or 88590013/14 - unless someone has a very specific reason that is

Impressive, really.

Any chance for EDM 88840016 or 88840017?

Guys - has anyone tried to use the alternate map for some kind of anti-lag feature - when throttle released or partially released etc. to keep the pressure a bit higher?

Thats exactly what i will be using it for. I currently run mild antilag, as i have to drive my car as a daily. Once map switching is avaliable I will run much more aggressive anti lag and swtich map to a stock map when driving in the city.

Oh and i vote for the 96530006 map.

Yeah - I vote for 96530006 as well

300477 - can you please show/send me your current timing / fuel map for the mild anti-lag that you run currently?

tephra,

In not too far into the future, I look forward to an "automatic fuel" trim based on the methanol flow. Using the same analogue input. It will allow seamless duel fuel and safe.

Reserving 1- 4V for the trim window?

You darn anti-lag guys lol. Read up on this site fellas, its not all that popular, especially since its not the best thing for most people to do. So you want higher boost for launches? With a 6K stationary rev limit I get plenty of boost, enough to break drivetrain parts if I didn't launch correctly, I certainly wouldn't want to increase my risk.

Thats been his plan since day one, it'll be great for people who install an ethanol sensor too. Set one map for pure E85, set the other for pump gas...all done No matter how much ethanol you mix with pump gas, it'll be tuned for it.

Since I don't have access to E85 yet, I also wanted it for the meth setups

Lets get the ECU to properly switch maps with failsafes first, that'll give him some time to work on the interpolation between maps.

Jack - this is not for launches at all in my case. Braking, cornering and exit - I need it there And I haven't found a setup in the forum yet - as you cant have this within your "regular" map.

hey Richard,

Yeah I need to know if there is a linear relationship between % meth and % timing... if you know what I mean.

ie at 50% meth flow can you run 50% of the timing of 100% meth?
